“The role of the Church is to mentor parents, the role of the parent is to mentor their children, and the legacy of faith continues to the next generation.” - Ed Cole
Little Rock Church student ministries strive to affirm the parents’ primary role in the lives of their children. Therefore, we desire to be a “Family-Based” youth ministry.
Our hope is that parents take an active role in the spiritual growth of their teens. From playing roles as adult leaders in our student ministries to simply being a part of family events, we want to affirm parents in their task of raising their children. We do this by:
1. Communicating as clearly and often as possible about all aspects of our student ministry.
2. Involving parents as teachers, mentors, RAMP group hosts, Refuge leaders.
3. Offering parents resources to help them as parents.
4. Providing family-focused events such as retreats, game nights, parent-teen classes.
